Med uvex pheos cx2 sätter vi nya standarder för professionella skyddsglasögon – och juryn för den prestigefyllda utmärkelsen pro-K award höll med. Sedan 1979 har pro-K Industrieverband Halbzeuge und Konsumprodukte aus Kunststoff (branschförbundet för halvfabrikat och konsumentprodukter i plast) delat ut denna utmärkelse till enastående produkter tillverkade av plast.

About the Red Dot Product Design Award
Brand of the Century – Stars 2016 for uvex astrospec 2.0
The uvex safety group and one of its most important product ranges – safety spectacles – were named amongst the "Stars 2016" in the 2016 edition of Marken des Jahrhunderts ("Brands of the Century"). The compendium is published every three years by the "Deutsche Standards" publishing house and presents the strongest and most famous German brands from different industries.
"We are very happy about this accolade! It validates the investments in our brand communication and motivates us to continue our focused pursuit of this approach", said uvex safety group CEO Stefan Brück at the presentation of the "Stars 2016" awards in Berlin.
Following the inclusion of uvex ski goggles in the "Brands of the Century" in 2010, the panel of renowned experts decided to also honour uvex safety spectacles with an award, using the example of the uvex astrospec 2.0.

iF Design Award 2015 for uvex u-sonic
The uvex u-sonic full-vision goggles received the iF Design Award 2015. They combine optimal protection for the entire eye area, good climate properties, and an outstanding fit that avoids unpleasant pressure points – this was enough to win over the competition jury.

With its "Eyewear" strategic business unit, uvex Arbeitsschutz GmbH was one of the 100 most innovative SMEs in Germany in 2011. In addition, a well-defined innovation process ensured that the company came in first place in the "Innovative processes and organisation" category.

The German Design Award judging panel awarded prizes not just to one, but to two uvex safety spectacles in 2013: In addition to an award for the uvex pheos, the uvex i-3 received the Design Award in the Special Mention category.
